This is an amazing local Art Co-operative! I teach workshops here and sometimes hang out to just spend time creating art in the space. There are open art drop-ins almost every day from 10am-5pm. If you are in town swing by and check it out!
The Sacred Caudlron is a vibrant and spiritually connected Pagan community centre in West Island. This is a good place to go if you are searching for Magical Community. They offer a variety of workshops and community activities and rituals as well as having a cute boutique that has various goods and magical tools by local Artisans and craftspeople such as myself. You can often fin my artwork and hand crafted magical tools here.
My art has shown for the past two festivals in their Vision Art Tent alongside many beautifully talented Visionary Artists. This growing and evolutionary festival has a beautiful vibe and a loving community that make it what it is. I learn something new about myself and my path as an artist every time I go here.
This beautiful Gallery slash Herbalist's shop always smells amazing and is full of great art, wonderful people and beautiful herbs and teas. The two lovely owners of the space Natasha Henderson (visual Artist and Gallerist) and Tammy Schmidt (Herbalist) are lovely and welcoming and each very knowledgeable about her chosen path. They both offer a variety of interesting workshops and products respectively that are well worth checking out if you are downtown. This space is really treat for the senses! (and the amazing downtown view from their 9th floor window is something you don't get to see everyday.)
This magical little store nestled into Grand Pr?s street in the Plateau, makes you feel like you've stepped into a Harry Potter's Diagon Alley and are no longer in fact in Montreal! ;) With really helpful staff and a wide selection of herbs, magical tools and a thriving pagan community this charming store is worth checking out. I sell some of my hand crafted Smudge Wings here and there are other goods available by many other local artisan and crafters as well.
All I can tell you about this is if you love great music and a beautiful welcoming community and land that calls to your heart when you are not there, welcoming you back each time you arrive, then this is the festival for you. Family friendly with really fun things to do for everyone this is one of my favourite festivals. My art has shown here in their Gallery for the past three years and will for many more to come I hope! ;)
Studio Sundari is a really cool spot, close to Metro Beaubien, offering a lot of different services and products that I think can really only be done justice by going and checking it out either online or virtually! My art has been showing in different parts of the space for the past couple of years with more shows on the horizon!
